Robert Goldstein, Partner

Robert Goldstein is a Principal with a primary focus on buyouts, privatizations and strategic minority investments throughout the United States in restaurant and commercial real estate sectors. Mr. Goldstein is based in Washington, DC.

 

Before joining Goldstein & Wright Mr. Goldstein held a senior role as an Associate in BDO’s Project Finance team focusing on the renewable energy sector. Prior to BDO, Robert worked as an Analyst in HSBC’s Investment Banking practice. At HSBC, Mr. Goldstein covered a broad range of industries and focused on M&A, equity and debt capital market transactions. He worked in HSBC’s Tel Aviv office.

 

Mr. Goldstein received an MBA from the University of Oxford and a BA in Economics from Tel Aviv University.

Gregory Wright, Partner

Gregory Wright is a Principal responsible for overseeing the administration of Goldstein and Wright’s U.S. buyout and financial services funds. Mr. Wright is based in Los Angeles, CA.

 

Prior to joining Goldstein & Wright Gregory was the COO at Beverly Hills based TWW Holdings. He was responsible for sourcing new investments, identifying and structing transactions with joint venture partners and directing development and redeveiopment activities for new acquisitions. Before working for TWW Holdings he was a senior associate for Birkenstein Investments where he worked in the Private Equity Group.

 

Gregory received an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BS in Business from Rutgers University.

Victor Yang, Senior Associate

Victor Yang is a Senior Associate advising Goldstein & Wright’s funds on growth capital investments in Asia. He is based in Hong Kong.

 

Prior to joining Goldstein & Wright, Mr. Yang was an Associate with TPG Capital for two years, where he was responsible for screening, evaluating and executing private equity investment opportunities across consumer, retail, industrials, FIG, healthcare, TMT and other sectors in China.

 

Mr. Yang received his MBA from Georgetown University and his BS degree in economics from Dartmouth University.

Julie Kimura, Associate

Julie Kimura is an Associate focused on U.S. buyout opportunities in the telecommunications and media sectors. Ms. Kimura is based in New York.

 

Prior to joining Goldstein & Wright Ms. Kimura worked in the Tokyo office of private equity fund Wakabayashi Fund LLC. She gained extensive experience in new business development and organizational design, and worked closely with clients in the electronics, multimedia, automobile, and healthcare industries.Ms. Kimura received her MBA from Columbia Business School in New York where she specialized in finance and private equity.

 

She received a BS from the University of New South Wales.

 

 

 

 

Audrey Harris, Managing Director & General Counsel

As GC, Ms. Harris is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the legal affairs and compliance responsibilities relating to /Goldstein & Wright’s global real estate business.

 

Prior to joining Goldstein & Wright Ms. Harris worked for McKinsey & Company advising clients on a wide variety of OTC derivatives (including in respect of credit, equity, longevity and commodities), the hedging aspects of securitizations and property/project financings and collateral arrangements.

 

 

 

 

Sean Stevens, Associate General Counsel

Mr. Stevens has experience in mergers, joint-ventures, cross-border acquisitions and corporate restructurings for international clients. He is responsible for a range of matters including transaction structuring, securities law and general compliance.

 

Prior to joining Goldstein & Wright, Mr. Stevens worked with the legal team at TPG-Axon Capital in London as a technology consultant.

 

Mr. Stevens received his JD and his LLM in Tax from New York University Law School.
